The Tao of Gaming

Wii Followup

I've actually been playing this some more. I think the clear winner (from the Sports & Play) is Bowling. The interface is close enough to bowling to make it feel 'correct.' (Golf is similar, but the controller isn't quite subtle enough to handle tap-in putts well). Baseball is really just pitching/batting, and it somewhat works.

I may be biased by the fact that my kids can bowl reasonable well, but have trouble with the other sports.

What is it that you don't like about Tennis? That one has been the most satisfying to me.

I don't find Tennis particularly gripping. The motion (positioning on the court) doesn't seem smooth.

I like tennis and golf the best, but bowling is the best social game. The tap-in putts in golf are the no brainers they should be once you get it down.
